Volunteer

At Aluna Guesthouse, our goal is to create the feel of a real home and real family. Many of our Residents have been displaced for years with no contact with family. We want to ensure they feel safely held within the Aluna family during this tender time in their lives. 

We rely on the kindness of volunteers to help keep this miracle of a dream running smoothly. We welcome all helpers, whether it's providing companionship, cooking a meal, helping to gather eggs from the chicken coop, honey from the hive, or herbs and veggies from our gardens, we are so grateful for the many hearts that show up each day to ease the burden of terminal illness.

We also love having volunteer assistance with our fundraising events throughout the year. We are open to partnering with local schools and community organizations as well as corporate sponsorships and internship programs, helping to foster a work model that holds community service and positive reciprocity at the heart of our core values.
